Hello everyone and welcome to sticky notes and notebooks!  

My name is Erin and I am a returned Peace Corps Volunteer and teacher.  My husband and I served in Costa Rica for two years and worked alongside local teachers.  I primary worked as a teacher trainer while there and saw upwards of 140 teachers a year.  This blog was initially created share ideas with the teachers that I only got to see once or twice a year.  


We have now moved back to the United States, and I am now looking for a full time teaching position in Michigan while the Hubs goes to grad school.

sticky notes and notebooks is still a space for teachers of a English as a foreign language AND classroom management.  But sticky notes and notebooks is growing!  It is now a place to share original documents for teachers as well as lesson plan ideas for the subject I will begin teaching this fall (TBA).   

A little more about the teacher behind this blog!  I was a middle school science teacher for two years prior to serving as a Peace Corps Volunteer and I  LOVED it!  The Hubs and I are moving to Michigan so I have begun the daunting task of getting my teaching certification and applying for jobs there.  

I am an avid reader (book suggestions are welcome), training for my first 1/2 marathon, traveler, continuos Spanish learner, food adventurer (I will pretty much try anything once), and passionate teacher.
